JX Event Venue Wedding | Katie & Josh

I’ve known Katie since high school, and when she reached out to me to grab coffee and chat about her wedding, I was so excited. Katie has always been such a joy filled person with a magnetic personality that I had no doubt her day would be a blast! When I got to meet Josh at the engagement shoot, I was struck by how truly smitten he was by Katie. These two are so fun to be around because they love each other so dang much and it over flows into how much they love their people . After the session, Katie had a card for me with the darkest chocolate she could find because she had seen me post about it. They both go above and beyond to be intentional in showing people that they matter and during their day it was evident that their people wanted to do the same for them.

January in Minnesota can be unpredictable. Will we experience a polar vortex or will the sun come out to play? Well the sun came out on Katie and Josh’s day and it was glorious. The entire day, Katie and Josh just went with the flow, enjoying each other and their people (we even made a pit stop for coffee, my kind of bride!). The ceremony brought tears to all who were in attendance and the speeches did the same. We snuck away for the most magical golden hour and couldn’t resist snagging some pictures on their new front porch. Josh couldn’t keep his eyes off Katie the whole night, and Katie was just giddy to have all her people in one place celebrating her and her person. Can all January weddings leave us feeling this warm and fuzzy inside, please? :)
