These two had the sweetest, intimate elopement at the Minneapolis Courthouse. Surrounded by their immediate family, we explored the city a little, stopped for a toast, and made it official during a quick ceremony at the courthouse. Adventure seeking is one way I would describe their relationship. Instead of spending money on a huge wedding, Elise and Pavel decided to take a dream trip to camp in a van while exploring New Zealand (can you say dream vacation?). I think that it’s awesome how couples are starting to own their wedding day by creating a day that reflects their values as a couple. They had their people with them, they had each other and they did the damn thing. It was perfect! Whether you’re dreaming of a glamorous wedding with all the bells and whistles, or you really just want to climb a mountain with your person and savor that experience just the two of you, make sure your day is YOUR day and all the details reflect that. Elise and Pavel- thank you for letting me into your special day. It was an honor to witness you promising each other forever and I can’t wait to see what adventure you go on next!
